Remember

Change requires no change.

To defeat Time – Mind, Memory. What is the Nothing if not Time? And what is the Nothing if not the Other? The understanding of Being – Mind, Memory – is the only dynamic of Time. And what am I if not the Other? (What if Time is in itself an intention?)

What stands in the way of Mind is Mind.

There is an absolute reality out there but you cannot know it. “Hence, that reality does not exist.”

All the world fits inside an eye. (And one is not enough.)

Seeing something through […] is not much like seeing it directly or in normal circumstances—but that is no reason to deny that seeing in these other ways is seeing.

WALTON 1984: 255

Photography does not have an aesthetic it can call its own.

For better or for worse, we can access the world only through Mind.

Photography is at the service of vision not art. ‘The photographic’ is seeing properly, just like how we see in life. And we all see improperly in life. Indeed, everything can be photographed, but not everything ought to be photographed.

Sein und Zeit and Totalité et Infini: essai sur l’extériorité were written by the same person.

Obviously, there is nothing more obvious than the obvious.

The Nothing is Love.

Dialogue/Discourse precedes language.

Being conscious is being conscious of… something. We can say that we are conscious of being conscious, rashly assuming consciousness can be treated as a thing in itself, but this is mere wordplay. There is no such thing as self-consciousness. It is in the fulfilment of each intention that the Subject arises. The Subject is therefore a work in progress. I exist in mind before I come to be.
